Our Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have a Grievance Officer who handles complaints from users of Rissme.
- Designation
- Grievance Officer, Rissme (Assemble Innovations)
- rissme@theassemble.in
How to file a complaint
Email rissme@theassemble.in with the subject "Grievance" and include:
- The email address on your Rissme account (or the profile you are complaining about).
- What happened, and when. Screenshots or links help.
- What outcome you are asking for.
For urgent safety problems, use Report inside the app as well, so our team can review the content. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first (112 in India).
What to expect
- Acknowledgement: we acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours of receiving it.
- Resolution: we aim to resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, and tell you what we decided and why.
- We keep your complaint confidential and only share it with the people who need it to resolve it.
Requests about your personal data, such as access, correction or deletion, are covered in our Privacy Policy. To delete your account, see how to delete your account.
If you are not satisfied
If you disagree with our decision, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India, within 30 days of receiving our response, at gac.gov.in. You can also contact us again at rissme@theassemble.in and we will take another look.
